MIG Welder
Essential Functions:
Fabrication of steel sheet and plate assemblies using MIG welding process.
Welds must be high quality.
All staff cross-train to perform a wide range of processes and typically work in a team environment.
o Performs free-hand MIG welding
o Performs plasma cutting steel
o Performs cutting and deburring of metal using cut-off saws, grinders and other tools
o Operates material handling equipment
o Performs other manufacturing processes as required Qualifications/Requirements:
o High school degree or equivalent
o Ability to interpret shop blueprints
o Ability to use shop measuring tools
o Minimum 2
years experience welding in a manufacturing environment
o Will be required to pass skills test for this position
o Works with minimal supervision
o Self starter
o Learns, understands and is able to implement all practices and
o 1st shift w/occasional overtime required
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
